Project Downsizing

Ever feel like you just don't want to get out of bed in the morning? Lacking the energy to deal with the everyday issues that come up? Feeling drained by the end of the day?

I have a simple exercise that will assist you in keeping track of where your energy goes, because we all know that where your energy goes your attention goes and where you place your attention is what you manifest more quickly.

First, choose one area of your life that you feel an energy drain.

This list of areas may be helpful:

  • Personal Mastery
  • Health & Fitness
  • Friendship
  • Family
  • Personal Relationship
  • Career
  • Education

Second, start by listing out the many projects (this may be a person) you have in this one area of your life.

Third, ask yourself these series of questions for each project item on your list:

  • Is this _______worth my time, energy or money?
  • What do I really want?
  • Will ______ give me what I really want?

Next, notice which projects you can eliminate from your life right now depending on what you really want.

Finally, use these questions the next time your tempted or someone invites you to take on another project.

This is a simple method to discovering where your time is spent and if your projects are in alignment with what you truly want. Remember, where your attention flows your energy goes. What do you want to manifest in your life?
